USAF does not use this table, or anything similar. USAF uses a PT points system in which situps, pushups and a mile and a half run are used. There is no minimum, although points towards passing would be considerably affected by a low number of pushups.

Bibliography

Many of the most useful books about weight training contain the word "bodybuilding" in the title, but they should not be overlooked just for this reason. Weight trainers who are not interested in bodybuilding can ignore the material devoted to contest preparation, and still obtain much valuable information.

Schools that teach the rites often claim they yield positive medical effects, which range from improved eyesight, memory, potency, hair growth, restoring full color to completely grey hair, and anti-aging. While the five-rites may improve health because of the increased stimulation to the body, there is currently no sound scientific evidence to support the more controversial 'miracles'.

Journals and publications

Physical therapists have access to a wide range of publications and journals. [4] Some are strictly limited to physical therapy, while others (eg. various orthopedic and surgical journals) are not as specific, yet physical therapists contribute to them and read them. Here are a few:

Using the bosu ball with the dome side down is challenging, as it requires great agility to stand on the surface. Mounting the ball is best done by placing one foot on the surface, then quickly stepping up onto the platform without looking down. A slow movement just doesn't work.

Infrared sauna production

While there are many different infrared sauna brands, there are fewer actual manufacturers. As in many industries, there are a number of manufacturers that will produce for multiple brands, allowing those brands to then sell them as their own. This is similar to store brand marketing that is common in retail stores and grocery stores. Below is an alphabetical list of infrared sauna manufactures, some of whom sell to consumers, and some of whom only sell to distributors:

  • American Infrared Sauna Co.

  • Brighton Sauna

  • Dian Chiang Chia Industrial

  • EZe Sauna

  • Health Mate Sauna

  • Josen Beauty and Sauna Connection

  • Kingston Global

  • Miracle Heat

  • Nusauna

  • Sauna Ray

  • SaunaKing

  • QCA Spas

  • Xiamen Komate

These are not the only retailers of infrared saunas, but are simply the primary manufacturers.

Below are a list of guides and FAQs that may be useful. Be aware that some are posted by infrared sauna companies, on occasion, though these are removed as speedily as possible by Wikipedia editors.
