     Artists, be they sculptures, painters or someone who works in the new art of video, strive to bring their vision of our surroundings, moods, and dreams to life through their works.  Almost as long as man has lived in clans and hunted food, art has been a part of our traditions, be it paintings in caves or huge carvings of stone.  It appears art is something so intrinsic in our psyche as to be a necessity.
